Willemstad, December 19, 2017- After a successful fundraising event, the Curaçao Culinary Team is one step closer to reaching their goals of participating at the Taste of The Caribbean Competitions in 2018.
On Tuesday December 19th, the Curaçao Culinary Team held its second fundraising event where the young chefs prepared a succulent Christmas Dinner Buffet which was enjoyed by over 100 guests who came to support the event. In addition to this the guests also had the opportunity to enjoy delicious cocktails by the Culinary Team Bartender.
Carlos Anthonij, Team Manager of the Curaçao Culinary Team is very appreciative for the support of all who attended the Fundraising Christmas Dinner and for the sponsors of the event, Amazia Restaurant, Curaçao Bottling Company, Licores Maduro, Massive Productions N.V. and Sprock Distilleries without whom the event would not have been possible. The team is in full preparation for the competitions taking place next year. The team has regular training sessions with local as well as international culinary experts and is currently planning various culinary events where the public will have the opportunity to taste several dishes the team will compete with in June of 2018 in Miami.
As the year comes to a close, the Curaçao Culinary Team wishes the community a Merry Christmas and prosperous new year and continues to count on the support of all to make their participation at the Taste of the Caribbean a great success.
