Open Day at Hilton Curaçao Showcases Diverse and Rewarding Career Opportunities
in Hospitality for Job Seekers in Curaçao
Curacao, Willemstad – August 28, 2017 – Hilton Curacao organized this past Saturday
August 26th an Open Day Job Market showcasing the many opportunities available in the hotel for youth and other job seekers.
Over 350 applicants came to the Willemstad ballroom where they could visit all different tables where each department interviewed them “speed-dating” style. A large majority was young students or recently graduated and brought forward that they really would like to have a job in the hotel industry as they know that tourism is of great importance to the future of the island.

capabilities and we want to help them grow and build their future” said Belkis de Boer, Human Resource Manager. “A day like this shows that there still a lot of people in Curacao looking for employment. These kinds of events make it accessible for everyone with different educational backgrounds, which aligns with our vision; it is our commitment and our responsibility. Therefore we are Hilton, we are Hospitality.”
The Job Market was a great success as the majority of the vacancies were filled and the part-time pool expanded.
