Willemstad, March 7, 2025 – The Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA) proudly announces the successful completion of the Brazilian Portuguese A1.1 and A2 Language Course by a dedicated group of participants.
The Certification Ceremony was held at Rilèks Beach Bar & Rooftop, a valued CHATA member, where 59 participants received their certifications under the guidance of a certified instructor. This milestone marks a significant achievement in enhancing language skills within the hospitality sector.
Recognizing the importance of catering to South American visitors—particularly the 5-7% of tourists from Brazil—CHATA initiated these language courses to better serve this key market. By equipping hospitality professionals with Portuguese language skills, CHATA aims to provide a more welcoming and familiar experience for Brazilian guests, making Curaçao feel like a home away from home.
Building on this success, CHATA is excited to announce the launch of another Brazilian Portuguese A1.1 & A2.1 Language Course, commencing on March 18, 2025. This six-week program will further strengthen communication within the hospitality sector. Interested participants can find more details and register at www.chata.org.
