CHATA Stars of the Industry Q3 2019

Willemstad (November 13 ,2019)– The award ceremony of the Stars of the Industry 3rd  quarter of 2019 was held at CHATA member Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort. During this event, the 3rd quarter employees and supervisors nominated by a variety of CHATA members were recognized and celebrated. All the nominees received a gift provided by Coca Cola Curacao, Deloitte, Papagayo and The Wine Factory.

Each quarter CHATA focuses on a different personal quality a person has that brings out the best in them while working in the hospitality/tourism industry. The focus of this quarter is Friendliness.

According to President & CEO, Mr. Miles Mercera, “Friendliness in the workplace means that you have a positive energy towards your colleagues and your guests. It also means that you are always happy to help those around you. In the tourism industry where our whole business revolves around being hospitable this is an essential trait. We can say with confidence that you the nominees of today are the reason our  tourists feel welcomed and at home. They are an example to follow for the whole industry”.
