Willemstad, July 7, 2025 – The Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA) proudly reflects on the successful execution of its annual Job Fair, held this past Saturday at Sambil Curaçao. With the participation of over 25 companies and more than 750 enthusiastic job seekers, the event proved to be more than just a traditional career fair, it was a dynamic and impactful experience aimed at strengthening the local labor market.
Visitors had the unique opportunity to personally introduce themselves to potential employers, learn about various companies and the career paths they offer, and discover exciting vacancies across multiple sectors. From hospitality and tourism to education, security, health, and services, the fair presented a broad spectrum of opportunities for all levels of experience.
This edition of the Job Fair also marked a notable show of institutional support, with the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) and both the University of Curaçao (UoC) and University of the Dutch Caribbean (UdC) actively participating, highlighting the shared commitment of government and education partners to support the development of local talent.
Beyond job placement, the event featured entertainment, interactive booths, and prize giveaways for registered attendees, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere that encouraged meaningful connection and networking.
The CHATA Job Fair is an integral part of the association’s long-term strategy to attract and place more local talent into the rapidly growing tourism and hospitality sector. With such a strong turnout and participation, CHATA is optimistic about seeing higher placement numbers this year and reiterates that the industry will require thousands of additional workers to meet future demands.
