Construction of TUI Ticket Office at Hato International Airport has Started

RIJSWIJK-WILLEMSTAD, 11 June 2019 – The construction of a new ticket office for the TUI travel organization has recently started at the Hato International Airport. The office will mainly focus on travel tickets. However, it will also provide other services such as car rental, last minute hotel bookings and travel insurance.

Good accessibility

Sebastiaan de Vries, head of TUI Dutch Caribbean states: “In addition to the head office at the Schottegatweg Oost, we are now also getting a location where we can provide service to our customers in the Banda Abou area. We believe accessibility is important and having a location at the airport was a logical step to take knowing that travel ticket sales is part of our core business. In addition to providing location for the travel shop, it will also have room for Station Management and the TUI tour guides active at the airport. “

Cooperation with Curaçao Airport Holding

The expansion of sales offices fits in with the TUI distribution strategy for the islands. The past month, together with the Curaçao Airport Holding, there has been plans for the office at the airport. Meanwhile, the first steps have been taken towards the realization of this project. The construction will take about four months. The new TUI sales office is scheduled to open at the end of September.
