Curaçao Culinary Team organizes successful Cook Out event

Willemstad, April 2, 2019- In preparation for the Taste of the Caribbean competition taking place in Miami, the Curaçao Culinary team hosted their first famous Cook Out at Amazia on April 1, 2019. This cook out was the first of four cook out events that will be organized by the Curaçao Culinary team.  During the Cook Out events, the guests will have the opportunity to taste the competing dishes that the culinary team is going to present at the Taste of the Caribbean competition. 

40 Guests had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights of the Curaçao Culinary Team. The Cook-Out consisted of a 3-course meal perfectly paired with succulent wine. Every guest had the chance to grade the dishes and even provide the chefs with their feedback in order for them to perfect their culinary skills for the competition. The competing bartenders also provided the guest with a delicious welcome drink in order to set the mood for the night. 

The Cook out is one of many fundraising events that the Culinary Team regularly hosts, or participates in, to raise funds for their participation in the international culinary competition in Miami. These events are all made possible by the trust and support of many. Culinary professionals, and local businesses provide the culinary team with a platform, donate their free time or support the team with, funds and or the necessary materials/equipment for these young individuals to adequately prepare themselves for the competitions. This year’s cook out events were made possible by the support of Licores Maduro, Delinova Amazia and Nolly’s. CHATA is very grateful for the support of the many professionals and organizations that devout their time and resources to the team.
