Willemstad (August 1st, 2016) – Today, CHATA organized a one of a kind ‘Dinner with the Champions’ at Kura Hulanda to celebrate the accomplishments of Curaçao’s Culinary Team 2016. The Culinary Team successfully prepared their critically acclaimed dishes that were presented at the Taste of the Caribbean 2016. The entertainment was provided by Gilmar Fraites and band.
The dinner also marks the first Fundraising Event for the Culinary Team 2017. After careful consideration CHATA has revamped the Curaçao Culinary Team Strategy and will have the same team represent Curaçao for the coming year.
In light of their expertise and experience we expect the team to win more gold medals come June next year. Please support the team in order for them to represent Curaçao and compete against their fellow culinary professionals in the Caribbean.
Taste of the Caribbean is an annual event organized by CHTA that showcases the diversity in Caribbean cuisines. Through this platform CHATA aims to promote the island by means of its delicious dishes.
