The new and improved Blue Bay Resort website

Willemstad – Last month Blue Bay launched a new and improved website, www.bluebay-curacao.com. After 8 years changes needed to be made and the new site meets the modern-day demands of site visitors. Nowadays it’s all about the experience and the ability to have a site that is both exciting and easy to navigate.

In cooperation with the Dutch web develop ISAAC, video and photo production company Flendy, local designer PRGV and copywriter Willem Blankenburgh huge steps have been made towards our goal. The new site is alive; moving images, breathtaking banner shots and colorful photos immediately transport site visitors to a virtual paradise. By minimizing the use of text and by keeping the site navigation simple, we believe we are better able to entice the site visitor. Our goal was to mimic the “feeling of being at Blue Bay” with the website. “Not an easy task at all”, according to Vincent Zrour, commercial manager at Blue Bay, “but we are well on our way!”

On the new site you can book accommodations directly and choose between one of the 4 types of accommodations, among others: The Garden and The Ocean. Local celebrities like Churandy Martina, Didi Gregorius and Kris Berry are Blue Bay ambassadors. It goes without saying that they are also a big part of the new website. They regularly stay at the resort, relax seaside or play a round of golf. Maybe you’ll bump into them. If you are planning more long term, Blue Bay is also an ideal permanent address. For this reason an additional website specializing in real estate options on Blue Bay is also being made, www.bluebay-realestate.com. This site will be launched next month.

The plans for the future are big for Blue Bay as a whole. Like the start of construction on The Shore, beautiful luxury apartments right on the beach, expected to be realized by 2019. Zrour: “We have an amazing location with a stunning view, vast beaches, professional dive school, several eateries and a completely renovated plantation house with a terrace, golf club and reception. That’s living on Blue Bay!” Homeowners and residents, represented by the Homeowners Association, also contribute significantly to this overall feeling. Clear and continuous communication and a pleasant living environment make it easy to enjoy life on Blue Bay. Lastly Zrour mentions the construction of a Welcome Centre at the main entrance starting by mid 2017. All offices will move to the new Welcome Centre in 2018. A new services building is also in the works for the Services & Maintenance department. “It’s not only our website that is new and improved, it’s what we are continuously trying to do at Blue Bay. This is only made possible by the hardworking team, that on a daily basis works so hard to make a visit to or life at Blue Bay extra special”.
