SOLD out event Curaçao Culinary Team!

Willemstad, Saturday August 26th 2017- On Saturday August 26th the Curaçao Culinary team held its BBQ fundraising event at Rust & Burgh. The fundraising event was held to raise funds for the Curaçao Culinary Team 2018 who will represent Curaçao at the Taste of the Caribbean 2018.

The Curaçao Culinary Team 2017 was all smiles during the fundraising event last Saturday as they welcomed many that came to support. Visitors enjoyed a delicious BBQ and had the opportunity to see our young chefs in action. Many were impressed by the great culinary skills of the team and the great team work that they exemplified. According to one visitor, “It gives me great joy to see how hard these youngsters work to be able to represent Curaçao abroad”.

CHATA and the Curaçao Culinary Team would like to extend their gratitude to all who came to support the event especially our sponsors. All the sponsors provided complimentary articles and materials to the team. Up next are the cooking competitions and bartender competitions scheduled for September 23rd and September 26th respectively to form the Curaçao Culinary Team 2018. CHATA is looking for 5 to 6 chefs and 1 bartender who will represent Curaçao at the Taste of the Caribbean 2018. The Taste of the Caribbean is a culinary competition where chefs and bartenders from the region take center stage to compete for the Caribbean’s top culinary honors.

 The Curaçao Culinary Team is a group of young professionals in the Culinary Industry of Curaçao who will represent the island at Taste of the Caribbean. The Taste of the Caribbean is a culinary competition where chefs and bartenders from the region take center stage to compete for the Caribbean’s top culinary honors.
