Participate and contribute with a Christmas gift for less fortunate families
WILLEMSTAD- December 13, 2022 – The end of the year is a festive time of celebration with family. Sharing Holiday dinners and gifts, families and loved ones come together to enjoy a solemn time. However, CHATA has not forgotten about the difficult situation many families live in every year. And unfortunately, due to the pandemic, this year may be even more difficult for some of us. Therefore, CHATA launched its end of year campaign giving back to the community and in this case the less fortunate families, who are unable to buy a Christmas gift. The Gift for Joy campaign already started and will end on Tuesday December 21, 2021, which will also be the last day to purchase a gift to donate.
CHATA is organizing the “Gift for Joy” gift drive, in collaboration with CHATA Member stores: Sambil, Renaissance Mall and Rif Fort & Boolchand’s. Everyone can participate and contribute with a Christmas gift for less fortunate families. By shopping at the participating shops, the buyer can purchase an additional gift of their choosing. CHATA will be working together with Siloam and Voedselbank Curaçao to ensure that the donated gifts will reach the families in need.
CHATA would like to encourage the entire community to participate and contribute to the CHATA ‘Gift for Joy’ Drive, while doing their Christmas shopping. This is a simple way you can help less fortunate families and make their Christmas a little more special.
