Create a forest by lodging at the Avila Beach Hotel – One Tree Planted per Room Night booked Directly through www.avilabeachhotel.com

WILLEMSTAD – To encourage sustainability in the region, the Avila Beach Hotel on Curacao initiated a cooperation with Eden Reforestation Projects as of October 2019. The hotel will plant one tree in Haiti for each room night booked directly via Avila’s website. Trees are essential to the eco-systems. Haiti is now one of the most deforested countries in the world. The hotel tries to give back to nature for our and future generations on this Caribbean island that has regularly been victimized by earthquakes and hurricanes.

What does this mean in terms of trees?
The Avila Beach Hotel has a consistent high occupancy throughout the year and an average of 35% of the hotel bookings are directly reserved via the hotel’s website. On www.avilabeachhotel.com we set the goal to contribute with 15,000 trees on a yearly basis, so every time you make a booking though our hotel booking engine, the Avila Beach Hotel will make sure that a tree is planted for every night you spend at this hotel.
